PETA: The other white Terrorist

Declaration of Intention
What this is: A article about PETA and how it is not a company you should support and how there are other organizations doing more good that if you are going to give your well-earned money you should give it to them.

What this is not:

  • An article against giving of money to animal causes. In fact, it is supporting the idea (Look at the bottom)
  • An article discussing vegetarianism
  • I'm not implying that only the white PETA members are terrorists. All the PETA organizers are supporting terrorism despite of their ancestors. The title is just to catch your eye and make you think, promise.

NOTICE: I write because I care and because I am constantly available for dialog. If you disagree with something I say then congratulations on having the ability to do so, but please respect others when doing so and also keep in mind that if you want me to respond to your disagreement you have to present some actual evidence and put actual thought into your dialog.

When deciding on who to pledge your time and money to people should be critical. Organizations use sensationalism to make you see their way and it is only by being critical that we can truly help the cause that we are passionate about. If we are not critical than we are wasting our time and the cause we are so passionate about will suffer as a result. Please take the time to think critical about organizations and what they claim, you deserve to have your money go to the people doing the most good. PETA is one of those organizations that I am critical about and does not deserve your money or support.

  1. They waste money given by members to actually help animals by making stupid commercials that have made up facts. For example the millions they spent on making a super-bowl commercial that claimed "studies show vegetarians have better sex." Not only did they waste money that was supposed to be helping animals, but they also made things up. I welcome you to show me a respectable study that shows I'm wrong.

  2. They have been on the record for supporting arsonists and terrorists. You can read about it anywhere or you can take this link.

  3. They are hypocrites. They are against animal shelters since they put animals in cages, but they advise that you take your animal to one in order to get it spayed/neutered.

  4. They also advocate that animals are the same as humans. So using that strand of thought one can ask. "So I can't eat this chicken, but you can rip the testicles off that dog?" I don't eat humans AND I don't rip their private parts off. There must be a difference between humans and all the other animals.
I'm simply wondering what's up. Are they humans? Cause I don't think we should rip out the baby-making parts out of humans, even though it would really solve the issues we are having with lack of food and overpopulation in some areas.
NOTE: I am ALL for spay/neutering your animals. PLEASE DO THIS!

Don't get me wrong. I love animals and believe that they should be treated better than they are in some situations. But I will not stand for a company that supports terrorists and that believes that humans and other animals are the same.

I hate that rats have to be used in labs, but I won't stand for them being taken out of labs and letting the hundreds of humans that depend on the medicine and medical advancements that come from rat/mouse testing.

You tell a human in Africa that they shouldn't eat meat. They'll tell you "I just want to eat". The way PETA thinks is great for rich Americans, I agree, don't eat meat, you can eat expensive vegetables, but this should be something open for choice not a law. Making ethical people doesn't start by making everything that is unethical illegal. A rapist in a prison is still an unethical person.

A one-by-one analysis of commenter’s rebuttals

“How did they make things up in the commercial??? its true, we do have better sex... sad for the rest of society. :( poor you.”
Let’s not be silly. You’re trying to prove something that is a positive statement, meaning you have to provide evidence. So go ahead? If studies show this go ahead and show me the evidence so I can shut up. There is no respectable study done that shows any indication that vegitarians have better sex. We here at Bloodandbrains.com pride ourselves in being open for dialog so find me the evidence and I'll adjust my stance.

“When you fix a male dog, you surgically remove their testicles so they don't reproduce more dogs to be on the street. its a smart and responsible thing to do. not against shelters, in fact they support that over having the animal go to the pound to be put to sleep b/c people are irresponsible.”
I’m simply bringing up the idea that it makes zero sense to say that other animals are the same as humans but then proceed to remove body parts from them. If they’re the same as humans then they should have the right to their own private parts. We could solve a lot of problems if we took out reproductive parts from humans, but we don’t do that and I don’t wonder why. As for them preferring shelters that isn't an official statement of their's that I have been able to find and also shelters put animals to sleep too.

“I'm sorry that you obviously haven't had a connection to any pet or something other than you to understand that animals don't have a voice, therefore people (like me) are here to help them have some kind of rights.”
You’re saying things about me now? That will get you nowhere. You’re saying I don’t understand that animals can’t speak? Wow… that’s pretty much slander so I’m going to ignore that. I have had 10 pets in my life time and I have spent a great deal of money and time on them, but the reality is that if I had to decide if I was going to save my cat or my Mom, I'd save my Mom.

“When it comes to medical advancement? test on humans who rape their daughters? or murder??? they can pay their debt to society... AND the results will be more accurate. I don't know, but I will NEVER support the testing of animals for humans' medical advancement... its cruel!”
This one is my favorite, but before I let my emotions get in the way let’s step back and analyze. You are saying that we should use murderers and rapists to do the tests we used to do on rats. So we should impregnate human beings, slice them up, dice up their brains, inject them with diseases, and whatever else it takes to figure out how things work simply because they’ve done wrong? I don’t think I get this one on any platform. Your solution is to murder humans instead of murdering animals. This is where me and PETA find our greatest disagreement. They get people so confused that they make statements like the one above. Clearly it is more cruel to kill a rat or even an ant (which is an animal too) than it is to kill a murderer. The solution to animal rights is to kill humans instead of animals. I must be the only person that knows humans are animals too, where are our rights!

Honestly this type of thinking may actually cause PETA to win since if we did test on humans we'd be taking another step away from what makes us humans and we'd be just a little more primal and 'animalistic'

If humans and animals are the same I'll provide PETA this promise:

For every person from PETA that donates their body to science to cure diseases and provide medical breakthroughs I will buy one mouse from the labs and release that mouse back into the wild. Where the mouse will most likely die from a snake. Then since humans and snakes are the same I'll put the snake in jail, but that's a cage! OH NO!

“I'm sorry that PETA and organizations like that exist. I'd rather put my money into something that is caring for truly needy individuals (and yes, I consider animals to be in that category) rather than sit here and help a society of greedy heartless people.”
This article isn’t trying to say that you should support humans instead of animals it simply address that PETA doesn’t do as much good as other organizations. PETA wastes money as I’ve shown in the article and they support terrorists as I have also shown. I’m not addressing your desire to help animals instead of humans, you have the right to help who or whatever you want.

“Don't ever tell me that animals and humans aren't the same... in my life I've met a million more good-natured, loving, caring, comforting and honest animals then people. in fact i think i could count on 1 hand the people in my life who exhibit those qualities that show me TRUE love”
Refer to my other responses for what I think about humans and other animals being the same, it’s just silly. Saying animals are the exact same is just like saying a vehicle is exactly like an airplane. Humans are animals just like airplanes are vehicles but it’s not the other way around, one is a more general category the other is a more specific category.
Your argument proves a difference between humans and other animals when you say that you’ve met more caring animals than caring humans. I agree. Animals are very innocent creatures and tend not to do the ‘evil’ things that humans do, but that’s more than likely because they’re not capable.

“following your logic we shouldn't be associated with a group of individuals who go to the far extreme and blow up abortion clinics...”
That’s my logic! You got it!

So PETA sucks, who should you give your time and money to?

Search the internet for companies that ACTUALLY give their money to animals, not constantly funding stupid things and bailing out arsonists.

For example. The Rhinos need your help: http://www.savetherhino.org/
You could spend your money buying food for your pet, or adopting another pet.
Maybe pledge some time to the animal shelter.

There is always: http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/

Or you can do what I do and have "Wikipedia Saturdays". Pick an animal that has little write up and do some research on it, expand the article and list ways people can donate to help preserve that particular species.

My thing isn't animals, but I care for them dearly. My problem is that PETA is pretending to care for animals. They sound good, but they aren't doing half as much as the rest of the ACTUAL animal helping groups are.

Smart and Sassy

I find your article smart and sassy. I agree that PETA is an extremist group and they approach their cause similar to dangerous groups. They do have a relevant place in society if they tone down their approach. They hold to a value system that puts higher price tag on animals than humans. From a Christian perspective or any other major religion this is repulsive. Animals should be treated with respect and we will be judge by the way we are stewards of the earth and all life on the planet. Animals while not the most efficient means of food is legitimate and acceptable way of living. All the animals of the planet also consume one another not to justify this but the natural laws also consist of cruel and cause greater suffering upon the victim than necessary. However as steward of the earth it is every person’s responsibility and obligation to be humane in the process of the killing of animals for human consumption and scientific experimentation. Both must be done with respect and lest amount of suffering as possible. Science at times is extreme in their method and use of animals, namely rats but this is not the general rule. The same can be said of slaughter house the way some are designed are not only cure to animals but harmful to those who consume the animal’s. It is our obligations to regulate these areas for the well being of both humans they intend to serve and the animals who serve us.
